由于各种原因造成肘关节活动丧失并呈骨性融合状固定于某一特定位置者，称为肘关节强直，纤维性僵硬不同于骨性强直，前者由于关节间隙尚未完全骨化，因而仍保留少许活动度。

发病病因

凡涉及关节部之骨折，尤其是以关节内骨折为主且复位不良者，在临床上最为多见。肘关节创伤后治疗不当者包括关节长期固定，关节内骨块残留及强力活动所引起之损伤等。其他尚有多种因素例如肘关节感染，肌肉，肌腱，韧带及关节囊损伤等均易引起广泛而严重的粘连，继而钙化，骨化。

治疗方式

药物治疗、手术治疗、支持性治疗、康复治疗

预防措施

保守治疗对纤维性关节僵硬者可试行体疗，主动与轻度手法的被动锻炼，并可酌情配合理疗，这对于早期关节内粘连者有效。手法操作时切忌强力被动伸屈。
