The pathology of disease

鼻中隔脓肿（abscessoftheseptum）即鼻中隔粘软骨膜或粘骨膜下积脓，是一较严重的鼻内感染。如不及时诊断和治疗，可产生严重后果。

发病病因

1.鼻外伤或鼻中隔手术后发生的鼻中隔血肿未及时处理，而造成的继发感染，这是最常见的原因。 2.邻近组织感染波及鼻中隔，如切牙牙根感染，鼻小柱或鼻前庭疖肿等。 3.偶可继发于某些急性传染病，如流行性感冒，猩红热等。
