The pathology of disease

骨旁骨肉瘤是起源于骨周围的骨膜，向骨外生长，但趋于包绕骨干，较为罕见，男女发病率相似，虽可见于任何年龄，但一半以上大于30岁。

常见症状

弥漫性骨膜增厚；肩关节活动受限；骨膜炎

发病病因

本病病因目前尚未完全明白，可由骨骺软骨游离至骨表面生长而成;亦可起源于鼓膜细胞层或起源于肌腱附着的前软骨纤维组织，遗传学方面，8，11，19号染色体机构异常与骨软骨瘤的发生有一定的关系。

预防措施

日常预防无特殊有效预防措施，可在饮食方面做些调整： 1. 维持理想的体重。 2. 摄入多种食物。 3. 每天饮食中包括多种蔬菜和是水果。 4. 摄取更多的高纤维食物(如全谷麦片，豆类，蔬菜，水果）。 5. 减少脂肪总摄入量。 6. 限制酒精类饮料的摄取。 7. 限制腌制，熏制，及含亚硝酸盐类食品的摄入。
