病理性近视、眼球震颤
Ocular hypertension is intraocular pressure above 21 mmHg without glaucomatous optic-nerve damage or visual-field loss. It is a risk factor for primary open-angle glaucoma. Treatment: monitor IOP, optic disc, and visual field; initiate topical hypotensive therapy if conversion risk factors (high IOP, thin cornea, large cup, family history) are present; OHTS supports treatment for IOP >24.
Asymptomatic; IOP >21 mmHg; normal optic disc/visual field; risk of POAG conversion
Aqueous outflow resistance raises IOP without yet causing optic-nerve damage.
Monitor IOP/disc/field; topical hypotensives if conversion risk (esp. IOP >24)
Regular IOP monitoring; treat if high risk.
It is recommended to visit the Ophthalmology department; an appointment can be booked on this platform before the visit.
