神经内科

Common symptoms

肢端溃疡、感觉过敏、冻疮、热痛、剧痛、呻吟、喜凉怕热、营养障碍、肌肉萎缩

The pathology of disease

Erythromelalgia is a rare neurovascular disorder causing bilateral burning pain, redness, and warmth of the extremities (feet > hands), triggered by heat/exercise and relieved by cooling. It may be primary or secondary to myeloproliferative neoplasms, diabetes, or autoimmune disease. Treatment: cooling/elevation; avoid heat/exercise; aspirin; treat underlying myeloproliferative/autoimmune disease; neuropathic agents (gabapentin); avoid vasodilators in some cases.

Common Symptoms

Bilateral burning pain; redness/warmth of feet/hands; heat/exercise trigger; relieved by cooling

Causes and Pathogenesis

Abnormal peripheral vasodilation and small-fiber neuropathy cause erythema/burning pain; secondary to MPN in many.

Treatment

Cooling/elevation; aspirin; treat underlying MPN/autoimmune; neuropathic agents

Preventive Measures

Screen for MPN; avoid heat triggers.
