Symptoms

Orthostatic hypotension; urinary incontinence/retention; parkinsonism unresponsive to levodopa; cerebellar ataxia; older; progressive; stridor

Causes

Alpha-synuclein glial cytoplasmic inclusions; MSA-P (parkinsonism) vs MSA-C (cerebellar).

Treatment

Fludrocortisone/midodrine for orthostatic hypotension; treat urinary; supportive; neurology; no disease-modifying
