Omental Cyst

Omental cyst is benign cystic lesion of omentum (lymphatic/enteric duplication), usually asymptomatic or presenting with abdominal mass/pain, may undergo torsion/infection. Treatment: surgical excision (laparoscopic/open); histology to rule out malignancy; monitor for recurrence/complications (torsion/infection/rupture); follow-up imaging if asymptomatic incidental.
