Pancreatic cyst is fluid-filled lesion (serous cystadenoma/mucinous cystic neoplasm/intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm/pseudocyst), incidental or symptomatic. Treatment: characterize by imaging (MRCP/EUS); surveillance for small benign serous cysts; surgical resection for mucinous/IPMN with high-risk features (size/wall thickening/solid component/dilation); differentiate from pseudocyst (post-pancreatitis); follow-up imaging to monitor growth/features.
Incidental; abdominal pain; by serous/mucinous/IPMN/pseudocyst
Neoplastic/developmental/inflammatory fluid-filled cavity in pancreas.
Surveillance if benign; resection if neoplastic/high-risk
Regular imaging follow-up; early characterization.
