Cervical pregnancy

Implantation and development of the zygote in the cervical canal is cervical pregnancy, extremely rare, mostly in multiparas. There is amenorrhea and early pregnancy reaction; main symptom is vaginal bleeding or bloody discharge, usually increasing but sometimes intermittent heavy bleeding. Main signs: markedly enlarged, soft, blue cervix, dilated external os with thin edge, tight internal os, normal-sized firm uterus. Embryonic tissue adheres tightly to the cervix and is hard to separate.

Uterotonic, surgery, embolization
