Vaginitis

Vaginitis is inflammation of the vaginal mucosa and submucosa, common in gynecology clinics. Healthy women have natural defense against pathogens by anatomy and biochemistry; when this defense breaks, pathogens invade. Girls and postmenopausal women lack estrogen, with thin epithelium and little glycogen, vaginal pH about 7, so lower resistance. In TCM, long-term rose infusion may help.

Urethral itching; increased postmenopausal discharge; dyspareunia
