Ovarian cyst is a broad category of ovarian tumor; any age can be affected, most common in women 20-50. Ovarian tumors are common female genital tumors of varied nature and shape, mostly cystic, with low malignancy. Early cysts have no obvious symptoms, often found incidentally on exam; as the tumor grows, symptoms and signs vary with its nature, size, growth, secondary changes and complications.
Lower limb edema; abdominal mass; ovarian amenorrhea; enlarged ovary; gastrointestinal symptoms
Functional or neoplastic cystic enlargement of the ovary.
Observation, surgery when indicated
