Malignant Uterine Tumor

妇科

Common symptoms

盆腔下垂感、阴道分泌物增多、阴道出血、恶病质、发烧、子宫出血、原发性痛经、阴道排液呈黑水样、消瘦

The pathology of disease

Malignant uterine tumor arises in the vaginal portion of uterus and cervical canal. Cervical cancer spreads directly to vaginal fornix/wall, upward to uterine corpus, laterally to pelvic tissues, anteriorly to bladder, posteriorly to rectum. Lymphatic spread: paracervical/internal iliac/external iliac/inguinal nodes; late supraclavicular/systemic nodes. Hematogenous metastasis less common: lung/liver/bone. Cervical cancer is one of the most common gynecologic malignancies.

Common Symptoms

Pelvic heaviness; increased vaginal discharge; vaginal bleeding; cachexia; fever; uterine bleeding; primary dysmenorrhea; watery black vaginal discharge; weight loss

Causes and Pathogenesis

Genetic predisposition: ~20% of endometrial cancer patients have family history (2x cervical cancer). Chronic cervical erosion/inflammation may progress to cancer. Smoking: lowers immunity, accelerates cancer; produces carcinogens. Sexual activity: no sex = rare cervical cancer; early/improper sex = higher risk; >2 partners = significantly higher risk. Endometrial hyperplasia = precancerous; simple 1%, complex 3%, atypical 30% progress to carcinoma. Anovulatory DUB/PCOS/functional ovarian tumors require estrogen long-term → endometrial change.

Treatment

Drug, surgery

Preventive Measures

Avoid unclean sex; no sex during active genital herpes. Abstain during treatment; partner checked. Keep lesions clean/dry. Prevent cold/fatigue to reduce recurrence. No specific prophylaxis; HSV vaccines experimental; acyclovir preventive; condoms reduce transmission (not during active lesions).

Department to Visit

It is recommended to visit the Gynecology department; an appointment can be booked on this platform before the visit.
