乳房红肿热痛、胆囊壁变薄、乳房内光滑质韧...、乳房肿块、乳房胀痛

The pathology of disease

Papillary cystadenocarcinoma is rare among salivary tumors (~5-7% of epithelial salivary tumors), considered an adenocarcinoma subtype. Eneroth called it "mucus-producing adenopapillary carcinoma". Arises from salivary duct epithelium.

Common Symptoms

Breast redness/warmth/pain; thin gallbladder wall; smooth firm breast mass; breast mass; breast tenderness

Causes

Gross: resembles pleomorphic adenoma, round/nodular, mostly unencapsulated; cut surface has cystic spaces with irregular papillary/granular inner walls. Microscopy: columnar/cuboidal cells of varying size forming irregular glands, many dilated into cysts; cells in single/multiple layers, markedly proliferative, forming single/branching papillae projecting into cysts; cytoplasm slightly basophilic, large pleomorphic hyperchromatic nuclei, frequent mitoses; scant fibrous stroma with inflammatory infiltrate, no lymphoid tissue; capsule incomplete with invasion. Biology: variable growth; can metastasize hematogenously/lymphatically; may invade nerves.

Treatment

Surgery; supportive care; rehabilitation

Prevention

No effective prevention; early detection and treatment are key.
