The pathology of disease

Knuckle pads may be a type of fibromatosis and sometimes occur together with Dupuytren contracture and camptodactyly. This disease is caused by fibrous thickening of the skin on the extensor side of the finger joints. There are no subjective symptoms, the cause is unknown, it occurs sporadically, often with a family history, and is related to heredity.
