腹泻、循环衰竭、脱水
Papillary adenoma, also called villous adenoma, differs from polypoid adenoma in that it elevates less from the bowel wall with a coarse velvety surface. Because of high malignant transformation rate it is considered precancerous. It favors adults over 60; ~90% occur in rectum/sigmoid; reported malignant transformation reaches ~75%.
Diarrhea; circulatory failure; dehydration
Mostly sessile, no long pedicle, slightly elevated above normal mucosa, spreading widely; typical lesions involve most of the bowel circumference; surface is velvety/coarse-granular/coarse-hairy, paler than ordinary polypoid adenoma, often mucus-covered; soft, sponge-like on palpation; pedunculated masses are rare. Histology: fine papillary branches with fibrovascular cores, lined by single-layer columnar/stratified epithelium and goblet cells; sparse glandular component; occasional poorly differentiated areas; lesion mainly confined to mucosa; rarely multiple, may coexist with polypoid adenoma.
Surgery; drug therapy; supportive care
No special prevention; early detection and treatment are key.
It is recommended to visit the oncology department; before the visit you may first book an appointment and connect with experts through this platform.
