瘤细胞浸润、生长缓慢、结节
Acinic cell carcinoma, also called serous cell adenocarcinoma, was not recognized as a salivary tumor before the 1950s; Foote and Frazell systematically described/named it in 1953. Buxton recognized its malignant nature. WHO calls it acinic cell tumor, but clinically it recurs/metastasizes; now considered low-grade malignant.
Tumor cell infiltration; slow growth; nodule
Tumor cells resemble serous acinar cells; believed to arise from acinar cells, but intercalated duct cells and transitions are seen, suggesting origin from intercalated duct epithelium. Peripheral adenocarcinoma arising in scar related to tuberculosis/infarction is a longstanding theory; some argue scar is secondary to cancer.
Drug therapy; supportive care; surgery
Postoperative recurrence 20-55%, nodal metastasis 3-11%, distant metastasis 10-12%; low-grade, good prognosis. 5-year cure >88%; Eneroth 5y/15y survival 90%/68%; Spiro 5y/10y/15y 76%/63%/55%, local recurrence 33%; Chinese series 5y/10y/15y 95.83%/83.35%/60%, recurrence 37.14%.
