Mesenteric Cyst

Mesenteric cyst is benign cystic lesion of mesentery (lymphatic/enteric duplication), usually asymptomatic or presenting with abdominal mass/pain, may cause obstruction/torsion. Treatment: surgical excision (laparoscopic/open); histology to rule out malignancy (cystic lymphangioma/cystadenoma); monitor for recurrence/complications (obstruction/torsion/infection); follow-up imaging if incidental.
