Breast hyperplasia

Breast hyperplasia is a common breast disease in women. Its naming is confused: lobular hyperplasia, mammary dysplasia, fibrocystic disease; formerly chronic cystic mastitis, but it is not inflammatory. Its feature is proliferation of breast components with abnormal structure, number and morphology, hence cystic hyperplasia or mammary dysplasia.

Common Symptoms

Breast pain; nipple discharge; amenorrhea; breast mass; breast distending pain

Causes

Mental stress alters the internal environment and endocrine function, causing abnormal hormone secretion; tension and emotion disturbance are contributing factors.

Treatment

Follow-up, regulate endocrine, medication

Emotional stability, regular screening.
