Vasculitis is inflammation of blood vessel walls; large (giant cell/Takayasu), medium (PAN/Kawasaki), small (ANCA/IgA/cryoglobulin); organ damage; biopsy/ANCA; steroids/immunosuppressants.

Symptoms

Fever; weight loss; purpura; mononeuritis multiplex; organ involvement; rash; elevated ESR/CRP; biopsy shows vessel wall inflammation

Causes

Autoimmune; ANCA; infection; drug; malignancy; idiopathic.

Treatment

Steroids; immunosuppressants (cyclophosphamide/rituximab); treat underlying; biopsy; rheumatology
