下腹部包块、囊肿、腹痛、血尿
Simple renal cyst is the commonest and mildest of renal cystic diseases, common in adults over 50 and rare in children, so possibly acquired; it may be solitary or multiple, more in men and the left kidney, often unilateral, sometimes with contralateral renal lesions.
Lower abdominal mass; cyst; abdominal pain; hematuria
It may be congenital variation of glomerular/tubular structure or acquired from injury and infection. The mechanism is not fully clear; it is nonhereditary, though family studies suggest possible autosomal dominant simple renal cyst. Lesions are often at the lower pole; cysts originate from the tubules.
Observation, aspiration/sclerotherapy when needed
Asymptomatic small cysts need no treatment; monitor by ultrasound.
It is recommended to visit the urology department; before the visit you may first book an appointment and connect with experts through this platform.
