泌尿外科

Common symptoms

排尿障碍、尿失禁、遗尿、尿道内口呈漏斗样改变、尿流变细或中断、骶骨发育不良、尿流中断、排尿不畅、尿流缓慢

The pathology of disease

Bladder neck contracture is another important bladder neck obstruction. The bladder neck is a tubular segment about 1-2 cm from the internal urethral meatus into the urethra, including but not limited to the internal sphincter. It may be congenital or acquired; congenital cases often have no other clear cause and are more in males; acquired cases follow chronic inflammation such as posterior urethritis, prostatitis and trigonitis. Congenital cases often show voiding difficulty before age 6, but onset after 20-30 years is not rare.

Common Symptoms

Voiding disorder; incontinence; enuresis; funnel-shaped internal urethral meatus; thin or interrupted stream; sacral hypoplasia; interrupted stream; poor voiding; slow stream

Causes

Mostly related to chronic inflammation; congenital developmental anomaly is also a factor.

Treatment

Medication, bladder neck incision/dilatation

Prevention

Treat chronic urethral and prostatic inflammation promptly.
