Tubal pregnancy

妇科

Common symptoms

晕厥、休克、阴道出血、下腹部反跳痛、下腹坠痛、停经、恶心、急性腹痛

The pathology of disease

Tubal pregnancy means the ovum is fertilized in the ampulla but the zygote is blocked in the tube and implants/develops in part of it. Ampullary is commonest (50%-70%), then isthmic (30%-40%), fimbrial/interstitial rarest (1%-2%). After tubal abortion or rupture, clinical signs are obvious. Before rupture there are usually no obvious symptoms; some have early pregnancy reactions (poor appetite, nausea, vomiting, food preference) or one-sided paroxysmal lower abdominal dull pain.

Common Symptoms

Amenorrhea, abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding

Causes

Tubal inflammation/infection impairing peristalsis and trapping the zygote.

Treatment

Surgery or methotrexate

Prevention

Treat salpingitis.
