Advanced tools and new leaders are driving the Single Cell Genomics Center into the future.

Recently, there have been a number of recent developments in the field of international medical health, and these developments continue to attract the attention of the industry and the public. The excitement of Bigelow Laboratory's Department of Ocean Sciences is that it is about to receive new leadership appointments - as well as new tools, analytical services and ambitions for a vision for the future. It is the only facility in the world to offer open access services and educational programs in microbial single-cell genomics.

Nicole Poulton and Julia Brown now jointly lead the most advanced facility. Poulton is currently the head of the SCGC Center for Aquatic Cytometry, which provides fluid cellometry expertise to the SCGC, and her joint appointment will strengthen the strong combination between the two centers to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Brown was promoted to senior bioinformatician at the Big Bang Laboratory last summer, a position previously held by a bioinformatician, but the center was gradually obscured in a previous proposal until it was explicitly defined as a magical resource in a formal proposal.

We are excited to inherit that legacy, but at the same time we look forward to further expanding and expanding our scientific innovation direction. With Nicole Poulton and Brown as Poulton's dual role, Brown and Poulton's priorities are to make SCGC's services more widely available; build new partnerships and serve more customers; and drive innovation through the use of a series of recent developments and a team of experts and skilled staff at the center. The new era SCGC will also take full advantage of recent tools that are helping the team push the boundaries of science.

Last year, Bigelow Lab received a total of $2. 7 million from NSF's Major Research Instrumentation program to purchase new robots and new sequencing instruments that are helping to simplify the center's analysis process. Brown said: 'We are opening the next chapter with an amazing set of tools that will help us make this cutting edge work cheaper and more efficient'.

Our support services are highly customizable and we are willing to package our services in an environment that meets the needs of different sequences. These new tools are enabling the team to continue some of the groundbreaking basic research work that has already been done. It is important to note that this is based on international public research findings and is for reference in the HealthCop and does not constitute a clinical recommendation.
