Riehl's melanosis is progressive brown-gray reticulated hyperpigmentation on face/neck (forehead/cheeks/temples), women, from cosmetics/phototoxicants/allergy/unknown. Treatment: identify/avoid causative cosmetics/phototoxicants; patch testing; strict sun protection; topical retinoids (tretinoin); bleaching agents (hydroquinone/azelaic/kojic acid); combination creams (Kligman); chemical peels; discontinue irritants; emollients; follow-up dermatology; monitor progression/regression.
