Physical activity in cancer prevention.
The concept of health management is increasingly embedded in people's minds, and knowledge of science and health care is becoming increasingly popular and deserves public attention. Sports activities (PA) are an important part of comprehensive cancer prevention and treatment and have a significant impact on the quality of life of cancer patients. Current international and national recommendations support the inclusion of PA at all stages of cancer treatment.
The purpose of this article is to summarize current knowledge about the role and impact of PA in cancer patients, and to describe its prescription principles, safety aspects and possible implementation into clinical practice. This paper is based on a review of professional literature and focused recommendations, focusing on the summary and synthesis of expertise on the role and impact of PA in cancer patients. Regular PA has demonstrated positive effects on reducing fatigue, improving quality of life, cardiovascular health and mental health, including reducing anxiety and depressive symptoms.
For certain diagnoses, especially breast, prostate and colon cancer, PA has also been shown to reduce the risk of death from both overall and specific cancers. Regarding the type of tumor, the stage of the disease, the choice of tumor treatment and possible side effects, PA prescriptions need to be individualized. It should be pointed out that the above content is based on international public research findings and is for reference in HealthCop and does not constitute clinical advice.
