Study of HPV genotyping distribution and associated risk factors in women in Karad County.
An international medical study has yielded new findings that have important reference value for disease prevention. The genetic distribution of the human papillomavirus (HPV) varies greatly across regions, which affects vaccination and screening strategies. This molecular peculiarity study determined the prevalence and circulatory gene types of HPV in the detection of HPVVDNA in 225 women in Karad, Satara district (≥ 30 y) in gynecology clinics.
In 14 participants using PCR and sequencing techniques to detect HPVDNA, 6. 2 percent of the participants used PCR and sequencing techniques to detect HPVDNA, and 6 percent of the participants 6. 2 percent detected and analyzed HPVDNA.
The identified gene types include HPV-6, HPV-59, HPV-66, and HPV-81, suggesting a loop between low- and high-risk types. Multiple-sex partners show the strongest association with HPV infection. These preliminary results highlight the need for regionally specific gene type monitoring to provide preventive strategies.
