An international medical study has yielded new findings that have important reference value for disease prevention. Monocytes are key non-specific immune-effect cells that activate microbial factors such as lipid polysaccharides, such as lipid polysaccharides, to produce inflammatory factors via the inflammatory pathway. However, repeated lipid polysaccharide exposure can lead to intravenous tolerance, a reprogrammed condition in which monocytes inhibit the production of inducing inflammatory factors while retaining antimicrobial function.

Reduced intravenous resistance to toxins contributes to maintaining tissue integrity and to the survival of macrophages, although this may trigger immune suppression, as observed by bacterial infections. Further understanding of the molecular mechanisms governing intravenous resistance to toxins opens up new ways of regulating natural immune mechanisms. We provide detailed induction and measurement experimental methods for intravenous tolerance (In Vitro Endotoxin Tolerance Study).

By using ELISA-based IL-12 and IL-6 quantitative readings, these methods provide a robust research environment for studying introtoxin tolerance.
