A rare skin phenomenon is characterized by the presence of polycystic ovary syndrome.

Recently, global health institutions and the public health system have continued to advance service capacity building to provide a stronger guarantee of public health. Interstitial granulomatous dermatitis is a rare autoimmune skin disease associated with a number of autoimmune diseases, including chronic ulcerative colitis. Although widely recognized in the skin manifestations of cutaneous chronic ulcerative colitis, the skin manifestations of interstitial granulomatous dermatitis are still neglected and lack conditions and opportunities for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Interstitial granulomatous dermatitis is characterized by a variety of skin conditions, including but not limited to skin pigmentation, abnormal skin tissue structure, decreased function of the skin membrane barrier, persistent inflammatory response, recurrent skin inflammation, family history of dermatitis, and high risk factors for skin inflammation. Skin manifestations of interstitial granulomatous dermatitis have a significant impact on the quality of life and physical health of the patient, such as skin pigmentation, abnormalities in the structure of the skin tissue, impaired function of the skin membrane barrier, persistent inflammatory response, recurrent skin inflammation, family history of skin inflammation, and high risk factors for skin inflammation. Skin performance for interstitial granulomatous dermatitis requires examination and diagnosis by a professional dermatologist to determine the severity of the skin.

Dermatological examination and diagnosis typically includes observation of the surface of the skin, examination of the structure of skin tissue, monitoring of skin inflammatory responses, examination of the family history of the skin, assessment of high risk factors for the skin, etc. The results of dermatological examinations and diagnoses typically require professional judgement and analysis by a dermatologist to determine the severity of the skin's appearance and disease, thus developing personalized treatment and care programs for patients to maximize skin health and quality of life. This case discusses a 36-year-old woman with a background of chronic colon infection who first developed scarlet fever, affecting both sides of her forearm.

Due to the clinical performance of the disease and the potential inflammatory condition of the patient, Sweets syndrome is suspected. However, through further investigation and pathological examination by the dermatology department, pathological examinations revealed specific characteristics consistent with IGD. Patients were treated with skin-surface steroid drugs, resulting in disease progression and no recurrence.

The case highlighted the importance of considering IGD as a distinctive skin symptom differentiation in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
