Foresee future hospitals: Healthcare stakeholders anticipate the need for 6G technology in healthcar
Recently, global health institutions and public health systems have continued to advance capacity building to provide a stronger guarantee of public health. The ongoing 6G standardization process is mainly driven by technological advances, but given the specific needs of the healthcare industry, especially in the healthcare field, the current scientific literature is mainly focused on technology, with very little empirical data from healthcare professionals, patient representatives, or medical device manufacturers showing that the current scientific literature is mainly focused on technology, but very little empirical data from healthcare professionals, patient representatives, or medical device manufacturers. Or among the very few empirical data provided by medical device manufacturers, it can be seen that the current scientific literature is mainly focused on technology, but the very few empirical data provided by health care professionals, patient representatives or medical device manufacturers are present, but the very few clinical data provided by health care professionals, patient representatives or medical device manufacturers are present.
This neglect of the correct acceptance and application of beds as a key factor in the adoption of the hopes and concerns of healthcare professionals in support of technological development and clinical practice in the context of 6G standardization. To address this gap, we conducted semi-structured interviews with key healthcare stakeholders in Germany and developed some technical recommendations for technology providers. These findings highlighted the challenges as central to today's common practice of inadequate interoperability, fragmented systems and inadequate network coverage.
Manual documentation and data transmission further burden staff under shortage and time pressures. However, there is ongoing concern about data protection and security issues and the increasing reliance on technology for automated systems and suspicions. However, stakeholders have seen tremendous workflow simplification, device seamless connectivity and use cases in 6G, such as real-time imaging, remote monitoring, interagency data sharing, etc.
The study supports the development of patient-centred and clinically relevant communication solutions by integrating the medical perspective of medical technology participants and clinical users. The findings provide practical guidance for the future matching of 6G solutions to real-world clinical needs. It should be pointed out that the above content is based on international public research findings and is for reference in HealthCop and does not constitute clinical advice.
