68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT in the Tg-Positive and Tg-Negative segments of differential carcinoma
Recently, global medical institutions and public health systems have continued to advance service capacity building to provide stronger guarantees for public health. Thyroid globulin (Tg) is an effective biomarkers for the monitoring of differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) after radiation therapy, but its reliability is affected by misdiagnosis and misdiagnosis. This study aims to evaluate the emerging imaging model of 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT for the ability to detect the replication and transfer of DTC patients, regardless of their Tg status.
This retrospective study included patients with suspected or confirmed transcriptional DTC who performed quantitative analysis of the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the two approaches, using 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT and TG testing as a reference standard, between October 2022 and May 2025. 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT was diagnosed with 95. 96% accuracy in 99 THS-suppressed patients.
PET/CT demonstrated extremely high diagnostic accuracy in 48 TSH-stimulating patients compared to Tg testing (91. 92%) (100%). Specifically, PET/CT successfully detected multiple sclerosis of lymph nodes in 8 Tg-negative patients.
