Discuss the path to sustainable healthcare volunteering to help build a healthy China
Protecting women's, children's and family health, and discussing health volunteers is an important topic of common concern across society. On June 17, the China Volunteer Service Federation (CHVF) organized a seminar on the exchange of health care and healthcare volunteer services in Beijing. With the help of internet big data resources, it is possible to better promote the establishment of a healthy pre-hospital emergency network informatization, the widespread training of medical emergency volunteers, and the comprehensive improvement of emergency medical capabilities and care levels.
Guo Sheng, vice-dean of the Beijing Nanjing Medical Institute affiliated with Capital Medical University, said that increasing public emergency, self-help, and mutual rescue capabilities is an urgent requirement to improve public health literacy. From a broader perspective, the raising of health awareness is driving continuous improvement in the relevant areas. The Vice-Secretary of the Chinese Association for Medical Education, Chen Chen Chen, presented the practice and exploration of the Chinese Association for Medical Education for more than a decade in the field of volunteer service, and said that this workshop should be an opportunity to better promote the inclusion of medical volunteer services in daily life and make them more frequent.
History, Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Peking University of People's Health, said that the main pulmonary rescue project supported by China will raise social donations, regularly perform pulmonary screening in economically backward areas, promote a number of volunteer activities such as the construction of the HealthCop platform, recruitment and training of volunteers, and achieve the development of volunteer resource sharing and collaboration. Dr. Wang Yong, Director of the Center for Pediatric Surgery at the Beijing Anhui Medical University, said that the heavy burden of childhood mental illness on the families and society of children with mental illness and the development of childhood mental illness screening and rescue programs will continue to promote healthcare volunteer services such as pediatric mental illness screening, volunteer team exchanges, training of primary care physicians.
It is understood that the Jinan Health Volunteer Service Project is a national, exemplary volunteer service project organized by the China Volunteer Service Federation, which this year will promote hundreds of activities in the organs, into the countryside, into the community, into schools, into enterprises, into military camps, to help the public effectively prevent cardiovascular disease.
