Mechanical study of the novel antimicrobial drug Lactam in the case of Cassidia blueberries.

An international medical study has revealed new findings that have important reference value for disease prevention. Candida albicans is facing significant and underestimated challenges in the clinical environment, mainly due to its increased resistance to treatment. This study focuses on a novel, proprietary, non-alcoholic antibiotic molecule called PEAMN, a polyamide molecule that acts as a proton-sensing QS inhibitor and has a potential therapeutic effect on candida.

This study uses RNA-Seq technology to evaluate the effect of the polyamide molecule (PEAMN) molecule on the transcriptional regulation of peppermint infections. Through this study, the researchers not only gained an in-depth understanding of the mechanism of the transcriptional regulation of peppermint infections, but also revealed the specific function of the polyamide molecule as a proton receptor, providing important theoretical and practical exploration strategies for the precise treatment of peppermint infections. The mechanical basis of these transcriptional responses and a series of biochemical tests were performed using SC5314 as a reference strain.

Our results show that Lactam influences multiple cell processes, including cell wall integrity, phosphorus activity, oxidation response reactions, and biofilm formation, with significant differences in biofilm formation in high biofilm formers. Lactamide's antimicrobial activity was observed in genes associated with long-term exposure to lactamide. In this process, pathological characteristics were identified and confirmed.

These results, supported by pathological analysis and mechanical testing, indicate the antimicrobial activity of lactamide.
